Admin center for Enterprise plans of Office 365 operated by 21Vianet
You can manage all of your business cloud services and features from one central location called the Office 365 Admin center. In the Admin center, you can add users, manage domains, licenses, and more. In this article, we give you a tour of some of the major features in the Admin center.
You can get to the Admin center by clicking the Admin tile when you first sign in to Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
If you are already signed in and don't see the tiles, select the app launcher icon in the upper-left side (as shown below) and choose Admin.
Note: The Admin tile appears only to Office 365 administrators.
The Office 365 Admin center initially opens in the Dashboard view, which looks like this:
On the left side, you can get to most of the administrative tasks or settings. On the right side are links to help and shortcut links to pages where you can carry out tasks common to managing Office 365.
In the middle, you can view the health of the service, email status and the Message center. For example, view the service health for known issues with Office 365. If you have problem with sites, documents or meetings, this is a good place to start. Or open the Message center to learn about service updates, new features, and important steps you may need to keep things running smoothly.
Setup
To start setting up your organization on Office 365, choose Setup on the left side and follow the basic setup to add users, import user data and start using the services.
Users
After you set everything up, you'll likely come back to the Admin center to take care of some important tasks. Choose Users on the left side to add new users, like a new employee or student. After you add a user, you can update the user's information to change permissions, licenses, and more.. You can also reset user passwords if needed. Domains
Choose Domains, to add or remove a domain, manage your domain records, or buy a domain if you don't have one. For more information, see Verify your domain and change nameservers.
Billing
Expand Billing to review or change your subscriptions, see your most recent bills, and see how many and which licenses users have. For more information, see Manage your subscriptions for Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
Service settings
To manage the settings that impact your users, go to Service Settings. Here, you can change the default settings for your organization. You can protect and secure your email, add site collection to store or share data, and change meeting settings, conferencing and instant messaging. Exchange, Skype for business and SharePoint admin tasks
To get to the most advanced settings for Exchange, Skype for Business and SharePoint, expand the Admin section and click the service you want to manage.
